Chief, the Pump Party Kitty

This cute little cat is Chief, a young male cat who has been hanging out at The Pump roadhouse, a local bar, over the last few weeks.

A PFA volunteer who attended a recent function at the Pump noticed the little cat under the deck seeking food and attention and alerted us to hia plight.

The staff were looking out for him and feeding him but weren't certain of his status as he wasn't there every day. But, they did notice that he showed up every Thursday, Friday and Saturday - the busiest days at the bar, and the days the most people were around!

This sweet boy loves people and attention and is not cut out for life as a stray. He is in good shape but has oil spots from hiding under cars.

Thanks to some kind and caring people, he was whisked off to a temporary foster home, and, if unclaimed, will be listed for adoption soon.

He loves to cuddle and purr!
