The two cats featured here are up against fate, and the clock, as time runs out on the the caregivers in their current situations.
Bugsy, the plum black and white girl, is a 10-year old cat who is spayed, vaccinated, and totally dedicated to sitting in laps. She has already been re-homed once and her current owner, and elderly lady going to a seniors home, is fearful that she will have to put Bugsy down if she doesn't find a home.
Bugsy may be a senior cat herself but is healthy and has lots of love and life left in her. She will make someone a good companion for many years yet. She just needs a quiet home with a person or persons who want a quiet, snuggly cat companion.
The handsome Abbott, a long-haired tabby, is a long-time stray being fed by a kind cat lover who has had him neutered, vaccinated and treated for parasites. She is leaving the province at the end of May with multiple pets of her own and is hoping Abbott will win the heart of a new benefactor. He is sweet but shy and would love the chance for a true forever home.
