PFA says goodbye to Ferris
Yesterday PFA lost one of our sweet foster kitties to FLeV. His foster mom put it in words much better than I could, and so, PFA says goodbye to a sweet foster who will be missed.

Yesterday, the pack and more specifically me and my personal pack of cats and dogs. Lost a very special member of our family last night.
Ferris, one of our six month old foster kittens, took a sudden turn for the worse within 48hrs, he suddenly stopped eating, became very dehydrated and developed a fever. Upon noticing his imminent decline in health yesterday morning, I knew he had to get to a vet, and fast. My poor little kid, was only a shadow of his true self, barely recognizable. His eyes weak, his body lost.
Being the optimist I am, his symptoms all seemed to tell a story of dehydration, fever and potential bladder infection. Little did I know upon leaving him at the vets office. That it would be the last time, me or the pack would see our sweet little boy..
After running tests, It seemed our sweet, feisty, confident, amazing young boy had developed Feline Leukemia.
& He would not be coming home..
Ferris crossed the rainbow bridge last night.. 3 His sweet little soul is no longer suffering.. I will never forget you little buddy.. Your antics, your play, your escape attempts, your affection and the way you accepted every other cat as a potential friend or new brother. You we're an incredibly smart, confident young boy who deserved the best life ever. I can only hope the life and love we gave you here will bring you peace and joy over the bridge.. <3 You are now in a special place, where food will never run dry, mice run wild for play, and birds chirp and dip for you to chase, for the rest of your next life.. <3 Love you little buddy, tell Diablo, Harry & Ozzie I say Hi, and give them one of your sweet and wet kisses for me. I will keep your brother Cameron safe for you, I promise. Love always, Izzie, Braedyn & The Balanced Pack. RIP sweet child of mine. <3
