Happy Endings for Two Senior Cats

Late last fall, we put out a plea to help a young family needing to re-home their 2 elderly cats because of a young child suffering from cancer whose immune system was destroyed by his treatment.

We were lucky to get two generous offers to foster the cats. One was adopted by her foster home and the other, Nog, the fluffy calico pictured here, was fortunate to find a forever home where she is treated like a princess by her owner.

She joined Sugar, another PFA rescue  who had to be re-homed at the age of 8 when her elderly owner had to move into a nursing home.

Both girls settled in well and are doing great.  After being lifelong indoor cats they have recently been introduced to the great outdoors via a 7-foot high and  under the watchful eye of their Dad.

We are happy to see two elderly cats landed on their feet (and in the lap of luxury!)
