Food Donations Needed!
People for Animals was fortunate to receive an abundance of food donations and supplies over the holiday season and it helped us get our street cats and foster cats through the worst of winter.
But our cupboards are almost empty and we need food donations to help us feed our nearly 100 foster cats and roughly 180 street cats during this prolonged cold snap. The cats eat more in the cold as they have to work harder to stay warm!
Dry food donation are especially needed as it is just too cold to feed wet food at the feral cat colonies right now.
If you have food to donate, please contact dbarlow@myaccess.ca or sklarer@myaccess.ca to arrange for pick-up or drop off.
We will also be taking food donations at the Volunteer Appreciation event at the Cathedral Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday, February 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.:

Remember that food donations are eligible for tax receipts for gifts in kind, with receipts.
PFA and the cats thank you!
