Successful Surgery for Noel!
PFA supporters have been captivated by the story of a sweet young cat named Noel, who was found frozen, ill and starving just a few days before Christmas.
A few weeks ago, we did a post asking for support to provide an eye surgery that would help relieve Noel's discomfort from a condition called entropian eyelid, and help her see better.
The response was overwhelming and we received many generous donations. We are very happy to report that the surgery was a success and Noel is feeling great and seems to be seeing better. Through it all, she was a little trooper and very cooperative with all the poking and prodding at the vet, and post care including a cone and eyedrops. She is just happy to be safe and warm, and to get belly rubs!
She just had her post-surgery check and the vet is very pleased with her recovery. Here she is playing at home and showing off her new look.
