Supply Coordinator
The role of volunteer Supply Coordinator is essential to Regina Cat Rescues operations. This role is essential in keeping Foster Home Volunteers stocked with supplies provided by RCR to care for the well-being of the rescued cat in care.
You will keep a detailed inventory of all supplies, respond to requests for supplies from Foster Home Volunteers and/or RCR leads, and submit requests to order supplies as needed. As a remote-based organization, please note RCR does not have an office space/facility.
Responsibilities
Receive, review, and respond to incoming emails as needed
Coordinate pick up and/or drop off of supplies to person’s requesting. I.e. Foster homes requesting food or litter; request of microchip purchase; community cat feeders needing kibble/soft food delivered to feeders homes.
Create an inventory spreadsheet to accurately reflect RCR’s supplies, ensuring it is kept up to date to accurately reflect current inventory
Submit supply orders as needed
Respond to relevant emails from the public offering to donate supply items to RCR, coordinating drop off or pick up of items as needed
Commit to monthly meetings with the Operations Manager and Rescue team, where you will provide an oral/written report
Other responsibilities as directed by the Board of Directors
Time Commitments
1 – 3 hours per week
Please note while we do our best to accurately reflect time commitment required to ensure interested individuals are aware, it may fluctuate depending on the time of year and seasons
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Age requirement of 18+ is a must, a valid license and reliable transportation is an asset
Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Google software and apps
Commitment to RCR’s mission and a love of animals
Access to phone/computer/internet/email is a requirement, as you will be provided an RCR email address, which is the primary method of communication
Ability to work collaboratively with others, while being able to work independently
Proficient with creation of spreadsheets
