Update on Noel

On Christmas Day, we posted about Noel, a tiny young female tabby that was found in ditch near Balgonie a few days earlier, hungry and frozen. Her eyes were badly infected and nearly frozen shut. Thankfully, a kind animal lover found her and took her home to get her warmed up, and to contact PFA for help in getting her much needed vet care.

Noel was treated for an eye infection at the Northgate Animal Hospital and was also found to be seriously underweight. She was released to the care of her rescuers and has made steady progress ever since.

Her eyes have healed nicely and, while she does have some permanent vision damage, she is thriving overall and has put on weight steadily. She is now the size an adult cat is meant to be!

Noel is a very timid cat and won't be going up for adoption, at least not in the near future. However, we are very fortunate that she is with a kind family that understands her needs and is letting her adapt at her own pace.

Here she is enjoying the comfort of the cushy house cat life in a cozy cat condo! She truly is our little Christmas miracle cat.
