Revenue Development Lead
As the volunteer Revenue Development Lead you will play an essential role in Regina Cat Rescues revenue stream. You will assist in the creation of a strategic plan to ensure RCR is able to secure monetary funds to meet the needs of the various initiatives and operations.
You will manage a team of volunteers and work in collaboration with other leads to create and meet the annual revenue plan. As a remote-based organization, you will be expected to work from home aside from the occasional in person meeting.
Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and be available to assist other Revenue Development team members
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other Revenue Development volunteers
Work in collaboration with other RCR members to create an annual strategic revenue plan, ensuring it is in accordance with RCR’s initiatives and is kept current
Maintain records of fundraising activities, donors, grants, members, and sponsorships in collaboration with other Revenue Development team members. Ensuring the information is kept current and up to date, and saved to Google Drive
Work in collaboration with Revenue Development volunteers to ensure the appropriate persons are provided the acknowledgement as discussed and decided upon in the strategic plan
Assist with any fundraising activities that are conducted in accordance with the SK Liquor and Gaming Authority, and all other applicable regulations.
In collaboration with other RCR volunteers, establish and maintain an annual budget to accurately reflect strategic plans and current revenue development activities, ensuring the budget stays within the measures as discussed
Collaborate with other team members as necessary to ensure revenue development activities are appropriately reflected through RCR via social media, website, e-bulletin, blog, etc., and review and suggest edits as necessary
Provide year-end tangibles to donors, members, and sponsors specific to where their contributions have gone
Research potential grants, submit inquiries and proposals, and other written records as necessary
Receive, review, and respond to relevant emails from RCR volunteers and the public
Commit to monthly meetings with the Operations Manager and RCR team members, where you will provide an oral/written report
Other responsibilities as directed by Board of Directors
Time Commitments
4 - 6 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Age requirement of 18+ is a must, along with a valid license and reliable transportation
Clear and concise written communication skills
Knowledge and past experience of grant proposals, donor and sponsorship relations, or fundraising strategies is an asset, and experience with tracking financials and creating a financial cost comparison and analysis analysts is a strong asset
Access to phone/computer/internet/email is a requirement, as you will be provided an RCR email address, which is the primary method of communication
